Booking and Rebooking
Thank you for choosing to book with Big Blue Swim School. We highly value our customers and want to make the booking and rebooking process as smooth as possible for everyone.
First Time Bookings
Step 1: Book
Use our class matrix to guide you in choosing the correct class for yourself or your child. When you are ready to book your class or require further assistance with your booking, please contact us using our customer contact form or call us on 07594249289.
Step 2: Confirm
Once we allocate you a space we will issue you with a booking confirmation including a booking form, payment details, class information and parent handbook. In order to complete the booking you must return the customer booking form.
Step 3: Payment
All first time bookings must be paid in advance of lessons commencing. Our booking confirmation provides details of payment via bank transfer. We will also accept cash or cheque at your first lesson but please inform us if you prefer to pay via this method.
STEP 4: GETTING STARTED
We look forward to meeting you and your child at the first lesson.
When it comes to rebooking with Big Blue we have tried to make things simple. Rebooking for current customers will always open in the final week of the term. You will receive a rebooking email.
All children moving up a class will be notified prior to the opening of rebooking. If we have not emailed you in advance of the rebooking email then your child will be remaining in their current class.
For each term we have set a 'change of class/time deadline' before the last lesson of the term. If you wish to change class time/day you should inform us of this by the deadline to ensure that we can accommodate your request.
Following this, current customers will have until the 'priority deadline' to confirm that they wish to keep their current space. After this deadline booking will open to all new customers and we cannot guarantee your booking.
During the rebooking period we will accept payment via bank transfer or cash/cheque on poolside. We kindly request that payment is made no later than the 1st week of lessons in the new term.
Due to the length of our longer terms and the associated costs we will are willing to offer current customers the opportunity to pay in instalments if required. Please contact us should you wish to discuss this. This will be at our discretion.
A payment reminder will be issued to all customers with an unpaid balance at the end of week 2 (unless you have arranged part payment at our discretion). Customers will have 7 days to pay their outstanding balance or contact us to discuss payment options.
Any customers with an outstanding balance following this 7 day period will incur a 7.5% late payment fee.
Failure to make payment or contact us to discuss payment options may result in termination of booking. Payment will remain payable in full including 7.5% admin charge.
Any bookings unpaid by the 5th week of term are subject to cancellation. This may result in your child being refused entry to their class.
Unfortunately we cannot refund for missed classes due to holidays, illness etc. However under certain medical circumstances we will be happy to discuss the option of a catch up lesson. Catch up lessons are limited to one per term and are dependant on class space.
