Access to the swimming pool

  • Please access the swimming pool via the sports centre entrance at the side of the school.

  • All children may be brought into the building by one parent only (this applied to families of more than one child also). Parents of children under 8 years of age may enter the changing rooms and remain poolside throughout the lesson.

  • Parents of children aged 8 and over must remain in the corridor and cannot come poolside for the duration of the lesson.

Changing facilities

  • The changing rooms are designated male and female. All children aged 8 and over must use the appropriate gender changing room.

  • Please remove your personal belongings from the cubicles and bring to poolside. Do not leave items in the changing rooms as this prevents others from using them.

  • Please minimise showering after lessons to a quick rinse only.

  • Please change and leave the venue as quick as possible to minimise the number of people in the building at any one time.
