Covid-19 Update

• We ask all customers to respect and follow all current Covid-19 government guidelines. All adults and children over the age of 5 years must wear a mask at all times within our venues.

• All members of the Big Blue team will adhere to the guidelines and take all required precautions. Our teachers will wear visors or masks at all times when teaching.

• Big Blue has designated Covid-19 officers in place to ensure all guidelines and hygiene procedures are carried out correctly.

• If your child has any of the following symptoms they should inform us immediately and not attend lessons for 14 days:

1. Continuous Cough

2. Fever

3. Loss or change to your sense of taste or smell

4. Or if you have been exposed to anyone with confirmed case of Covid-19.

• If you or anyone in your family have a positive test result confirming you have Covid-19, you must inform us immediately. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your booking.

• No catch-up or alternative lessons will be offered while the Covid-19 restrictions are in place.

• We are not responsible for any cancellations or suspension of lessons due to Covid-19 restrictions, including local travel restrictions. Refunds/credits will not be issued for any lessons cancelled due to covid-19 unless under a government issued lockdown.

• Anyone who does not adhere to the guidelines will be issued with a warning and may risk cancellation of their booking.

• If your booking is cancelled due to not following the guidelines no refund will be issued.

• All swimming lessons are attended at your own risk.

Booking

• Payment can be made using our customer portal via either GoCardless or Stripe Eazypayment. We will also accept cash at the venue. Cheques are no longer accepted.

• Payment will be taken in full using our GoCardless direct debit system 5 days prior to the first lesson of the term, unless a payment plan has been otherwise agreed with Big Blue.

• Existing customers are entitled to a priority-booking window during the final week of the block. The confirmation deadline is 12pm on the advertised date.

 • In the event we are unable to accommodate your lesson a full refund will be given.

• If lessons are cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule them. If this is not possible a credit will be applied to the following term.

• Refunds for non-attendance will not be given.

• One catch up lesson is permitted per term where availability allows.

 

Late Payment

• Failure to make payment or contact us to discuss payment options may result in termination of booking. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the class.

 

Cancellation

• All cancellations made prior to the first lesson will incur a £10.00 admin charge. After this time, refunds will be at the discretion of Big Blue.

Venue Rules

• Please see specific covid-19 venue guidelines for each venue used by Big Blue.

• Use of camera or photographic/video recording equipment is not permitted on poolside at any time.

• Mobile phones may not be used at any time on poolside.

• No food or drink other than water in a plastic sports bottle may be consumed on poolside or in the changing areas.

• Spectators must wear blue shoe covers as provided.

• All customers must adhere to the rules of the pool and follow any instructions written or verbal from club staff.

• Management reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings, particularly if the guidelines above are not followed.
